Co-founder and Scientific Advisor, expert in endophyte discovery and molecular characterization with over 30 years experience in plant fungal interactions and grass/cereal biology. Trevor is a botanist with expertise in endophyte biology having started his research career in mycorrhizal research 30 years ago. His research interest has been on fungal endophytes that can enhance yields in cereal crops in a more sustainable way than using agricultural fertilizer and fungicide inputs. He led the Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Project to commercialise CropBiome’s technology prior to spin out as a micro-company.
